Many years ago I owned a pair of flip-flops of very similar design. They were made from recycled material including car tyres, and had the same square tread pattern. I do not think they were called Gumbies, but I am so glad I rediscovered this footwear. They are extremely comfortable, and surprisingly, very supportive given they are flip-flops. If they last half the time that my others did, I will be well satisfied. Looking forward to hearing when the black design is back in stock, as unfortunately they were not available when I placed my last order. Great product, comfortable and hard wearing.

I’ll be on honest , this is only the second pair I’ve owned. I had the first pair for years. I can’t wear flip flops with a hard rubber toe post, but Gumbies have a soft fabric toe post , which is perfect for me. So many choices of colours and designs , I just love this company, and their varying styles. We’ll done all at Gumbies, I salute you 👍

DURABLE OUTER SOLE - our Gumtread™ recycled rubber outsoles are flexible, durable and provide a tire-like grip for whatever terrain you might encounter. Biodegradable jute fibers reinforce and preserve the integrity of the rubber, so the adventure keeps on going year after year.
COTTON SOFT - finishing touches matter. That's why we use soft cotton canvas for both our toe posts and strap linings. We want your feet to feel as comfortable as possible, which is why we've added a thin layer of the same recycled cotton canvas to the footbed. This ensures instant comfort from the very first wear.
